Caring wasn't enough. So we started doing.

Parwaaz is a group of friends, cousins, and neighbours who decided that caring wasn't enough. Doing was. Every rupee goes directly to the people who need it.

What we actually do

We work in three areas. Not because someone told us to. Because these three wounds kept appearing in front of us, and we couldn't look away.

Our Story

These are real people. This is their story.

We didn't come from money. We didn't have NGO experience. We had chai, a WhatsApp group, and a shared feeling we couldn't quite name. A mix of guilt, love, and restlessness.

Our journey so far

Growth since we started

2023202420252026

It started with a question we couldn't shake

Parwaaz didn't begin with a boardroom or a business plan. It began between friends, cousins, and neighbours, over chai that had gone cold, asking a question none of us could answer comfortably: “We have so much. Why aren't we doing something?”

“If not us, then who? If not now, then when?” That question became Parwaaz. پرواز. Urdu for flight. Not the kind when you're already soaring. The first flight. The terrifying, trembling moment when a bird leaves the branch for the very first time.

Why we call it Parwaaz

Parwaaz. پرواز. Urdu for flight. Not the kind when you're already high in the sky. This is the first flight. The terrifying, trembling, everything-on-the-line moment when a bird leaves the branch for the very first time.

A dream kept alive

She had worked for this her entire life. Then her father didn’t wake up. Parwaaz covered her university fees. She is studying now.

Dignity restored

He spent his whole life taking care of others. We give him enough that he doesn’t skip meals anymore.

A home that stayed

The donations dried up. The kitchen was running out. Parwaaz stepped in to keep the lights on.

The first flight

These moments don’t look dramatic from the outside. But they change everything on the inside.

Volunteers making a difference

We exist for the moment just before everything changes.

Our Promise

Why we're telling you this

We believe you have felt what we felt. That restlessness. That quiet guilt. That sense that you want to do something but don't know where to start.

Our commitment

100%

Direct Impact

No expensive offices. No layers of management. Every single rupee reaches the person who needs it.

How we work

Zero

Bureaucracy

We are neighbours helping neighbours. What we have is complete transparency and deep roots in our community.

One fee paid matters. One meal provided matters. One child sleeping soundly matters more than you will ever know.

Volunteer

We were built by volunteers. Friends who refused to look away. Join us.

Share

You don’t have to give money. Your voice can reach someone who will.

Educate

There is a girl somewhere right now who is brilliant. If only someone gave her the chance.

Advocate

Some children just need to know the lights will still be on tomorrow.

Support

Parwaaz is small. But behind every number is a face, a name, a story.

Parwaaz

You don't have to change the whole world

You just have to give one person their first flight. The girl is in university now. The elderly man eats full meals. The children in the orphanage sleep soundly. There are thousands more like them.

Give Them Their First Flight
